Why Faiez Seyal?

The market is flooded with thousands of personal finance and investment advisory firms and individuals, all claiming to be providing the best possible, independent, and sincere advice to their clients. However, they repeatedly fail to keep up to their words, depriving their clients of their hard-earned money. It is due to two major reasons:

  1. Their Association: All these firms and individuals are owned, affiliated, associated, or obligated in one way or the other with corporate entities, insurance companies, banks, stock markets, or real estate agents or developers. The immense pressures of “office quotas” and corporate loyalty distract them from advising in their clients’ best interests. Thus, their claims of independence and unbiasedness are questionable. We take pride in the fact that we are not associated, affiliated with, or obligated to any insurance or investment company, bank, stock market, or its agents, or real estate development firm. This independence, along with our longstanding commitment to the highest professional and ethical standards, allows us to offer fully independent, unbiased, and sincere advice in the best interest of our clients.
  2. Compensation Mode: Most professionals in the personal finance and investment industry earn their paycheck from commissions generated by the sale and purchase of investments such as real estate, stocks, or commodities trading. While there is nothing inherently wrong with commissions, they do cloud the “impartiality” of the industry professionals who may, as a result, promote short-term “trading” as opposed to long-term “investment”, because every time an investment changes hands, they earn commissions. That’s why we charge a fee for our investment advisory services. Charging a fee for advice avoids the conflicts of interest that arise from the need to sell something to get paid. Moreover, to avoid any actual or perceived conflicts of interest, we don’t accept any form of revenue sharing or indirect compensation from the investment products or service providers used in client accounts. What this means for you is that:
  • We charge a “fixed” fee for our advisory services;
  • We do not accept any commissions or compensation from third parties, and
  • We always provide independent and objective recommendations.
